Yet another week has passed. This one, just as the other's these past months, was packed. I started the week out in sunny Paris wearing dresses and shorts. However, when the weather turned a bit grey, I found myself in a somewhat classic smart outfit. My somewhat masculine fashion sense was satisfied, and so, I ended up wearing this combo to the Antwerp Fashion Festival fashion show.

Ever since this winter, the side split blouse has been appearing in stores left, right and center. Sadly, I haven’t seen them actually being worn too much. This isn’t too much of a surprise since it’s a lot different from last year’s crop tops and not the easiest piece to style. Want to know some ways to pull this fashion trend off? TOMBOY DRESS UP | Dungaree Dress

Being a tomboy by nature, I have never been one for dresses or skirts. The times I did wear one, it was mainly because of silly gender roles and a stupid will to fit in. This dungaree dress however complements my not so girly personality perfectly. It’s a plain black denim dress with a minimalist seventies feel. And I have been all about those seventies lately. Not the in your face floral print kind, but more so a dialed down minimal version. After all, I do have to brave the streets and stares of 2k16.

70s Minimalism | Try-on haul

After winter that did not seem to end, it was time for a big spring clean-up. I reorganized my wardrobe and threw out any fall/winter item I didn’t get to wearing this past season. As I went through my clothes I noticed some key pieces missing as well as some well-loved pieces falling apart. It was high time for some replacements and a few new bits. There is definitely a 70s minimalist vibe to this one. Enjoy.
