Dear autumn, we've missed you. I've missed you. My makeup missed you. Welcome back, my love. You know autumn, I'm not going to keep this from you. I cheated a little bit. My berry lip saw the heath of summer and so did my warm eyeshadows. I know, I really messed things up. So, to make it up to you, I got you a little present. A customised eyeshadow trio. Just for you, Autumn.

New Season, New Eyeshadow stick | Essence Review
It’s a well-known
fact that I’m a sucker for a good cream eyeshadow, preferably in stick form. I’m
just not a morning person. So I can’t be bothered with putting a lot of time
into my makeup on the early mornings. In February, I reviewed the Rimmel
Magnifeyes eyeshadow stick, and I still love that one, but I lately I have been
loving a more minimal and simple look and the Rimmel one is quite full
on. So, I decided to branch out and try the new Essence 2-in-1 eyeshadow &
liner sticks.

From Scandaleyes To Magnifeyes - A Rimmel Upgrade!
It’s a long one so for you hasty people: Rimmel
brought out a new range of improved eyeshadow sticks. The old Scandaleyes had
to make room for the Magnifeyes. The colors are pretty much the exact same. The
formula and packaging however finally got the makeover they long craved for. (How have I not seen this one pop up anywhere else??!)

Cool Toned Eyeshadow, A Fall Alternative
When you think of fall make up, you probably think of shimmery warm eyeshadows and a dark berry lip. I have been looking forward to this golden combination for months, but fall isn't nearly over yet and, I have to say, I am kind of bored of them already. Lately I find myself grabbing cool toned eyeshadows
more frequently. After a long period of cherishing my YSL eyeshadow palette in
all its warm orangey toned glory, I’m now reaching for the total opposite.
Plums, browns and burgundies, all with a greyish undertone have made their way back
into my daily make up selection. And let’s be honest, they do suit my skin tone
a lot better.
